Apparently the OP doesn't understand how software development works for massive multimillion dollar projects. It is much, much harder to push incrimental builds, especially before you're completely certain how one new feature might affect or be affected by another, especially if you seperate them to implement in different patches.

Please provide the information you have that hasn't been made public yet that the patch has a specific date? Sort of irritated with people assuming they know when SE is bringing 2.1 out...

I'd love to have the auto-sort function in at this very moment, but if they feel it isn't ready to implement until patch 2.1? Not much we can do about it.

Exact reason because trash like GW2 is a fail from launch, hopeless junk, with every single patch overbugged, fixing 10 bugs and bosses stop to work or worst haha

I would be for this, except every time they put the servers down they have to do maintenance on the fix and then another maintenance on the maintenance. They have stated that the reason they are not implementing many of the changes is that they effect other things and are a larger fix than you think. I would really rather them do it all at once.

Implement it! If something small like auto sort is done, please don't wait for a content patch to put it in. Put it in as you complete the small thing! Especially when they should have been in the game the first place.

It's almost a crime that this game wasn't released with a sort function for your inventory. Trying to find some elusive crafting item in that mess of an inventory is frustrating.

A fix is a fix. They will have to fix stuff either way. Implement it now, or later, if it breaks something it will break something. Big update or small. Their coding doesn't seem to be that great. Isn't the whole reason to have 2.0 was to bring a new system and coding(one of the main reasons.)

What mess of an inventory? Is really automatic sort so common these days people lost their abilities to sort themselves? Really? I've never had any difficulty locating any items in my inventory or retainer.

I have spent more time than I am going to admit here trying to find stuff in my inventory. I would very much like to see a sort feature. I like to spend my time playing the game. Not playing hide and seek in my inventory.
