If given the option to donate something to this game each month I would. SE has earned my respect over many years. Especially with how they're handling this game after a rough start, and all the great communication going on thanks to the community reps, dev team and Yoshida-san. I enjoy the game, look forward to, and am excited about the changes to come.
Though I don't believe SE would even give us the option to donate to them right now, as they have their promises to keep and image to uphold. If they allowed us to I wouldn't think negatively of them. There is no shame in asking for help (though I don't know that they need it.)
I'm not really an MMORPG player... I'm a SE MMORPG player, and so if I didn't have FFXIV I wouldn't go play another game. I like FF best and I stick to it. I would gladly donate if if would help them make this game more enjoyable for everyone.

I've noticed a lot of people being disrespectful to others regarding their opinions on this thread. Mainly some people who would not pay insulting those who would. Though it does go both ways. There is no need to argue amongst ourselves. Some would pay some would not. No opinion is wrong or right. Those who would not pay, I understand your reasons and respect your opinions. Not a chance in hell, ever week the game feels more and more bland, we desperately need content and its about time Yoshi-p started giving us info and not letters which lead to more questions.

like the info from the battle system team we are all waiting for will be nothing but little tib bits of broken info that wont really explain anything at all and then u will be told to wait for the next piece of vague info and that u should be excited....

Btw imo the ppl that would not pay more then likely out weigh thoes that would, SE would see that and shut it down lol. I mean come on not very many play now and subtract the ones that only play this 1/2 finished game because its free.

Lmao I have most the loyalist on ignor so i didnt see any coments on ppl that would pay but I would think it a safe bet that it would not be very encouraging number to SE. =/

Pasting this over from other thread, new content can take a backseat until the following changes are made:

-Optimisation of game engine and streamlined interaction with server, including reduction of time taken to execute actions (attacks should be instant, not have some irritating 1 second pause interacting with the server between pressing the button and the animation going off). Hardly anyone's computer can play this game smoothly, so it's no surprise there's hardly any players.

-A market system with a price history that doesn't involve searching for your item in a list, going to the particular ward, then looking for the particular player every single time you want to buy something. You should be able to buy it from the list you found it in, the extra level of complexity they added is bizarre. This makes crafting way too frustrating to even bother with for me.

There's no point adding content to a game when fundamentals are still broken.
