    Cutscene after Credits roll: SPOILERS

    Anyone else notice that the second unknown Ascian to walk forward after the camera pans to Lahabrea is Lightning or has a very very similar hair style to Lightning.

    Is this the tie into the Lightning ARR FATE? Let's compare.

    Ascians can control/brainwash people with dark crystals. The room is also kept dark and unlit on purpose or has light from a dim blue source. It would distort the coloring of people's hair.

    Go back and watch the cut scene. The second distorted voice is a woman. The voice is in another language and distorted on purpose and there's no lighting so see features or actual hair color on purpose. The room is dark.

    listen to it in japanese. it clearly sounds like a woman in the japanese version... too bad I don't know if it's Lightning's Va from there.... and the blue hair can be because of the room being not very bright and having a weird lighting to it.

    Er I swear her hair is blue? Plus lightning being an ascian makes no sense and if they do make her one so help me I will be sooo pissed off.

    I know they can posses people with dark crystals but my beef is why are they in OUR world. If they make this some world crossing story I am going to be quite sad.

    remember Ascians are formless and can take over the body of any living being through dark crystals.
    It is possible they might have gotten at lighting through the void(since the void pretty much connects to every final fantasy game)

    So I wasn't the only person who noticed this! If you start looking at the other unmasked characters as well, don't they resemble Balthier and Cloud? Even the earrings Balthier wears are similar, and this appears to be the only Ascian with earrings.

    That earring does look very Bathier for sure, but that hairstyle is in game, so not totally convinced but I can see the similarity.

    Clearly that's lightning, no doubt.


    the other guy that hair is just so Tidus. It's really hard to get a pic from the side at that angle without playing FFX, but I don't know of anyone else in XIV with that haircut.

    I thought this was lightning immediately, thought the same thing, once I saw that, rewatched it and started seeing if I could recognize anyone else, glad to see others had the same though progression.

    Oh dear please square don't go this route pleasssse don't. *drops on knee's* I beg you square DON'T please don't do this you remember the beta forums when you said lightning was going to be in the game? You remember the sheer amount of people who were upset? Just don't please I don't want these three in the story.

    Lightning having a fate is fair enough but other final fantasy characters being a part of XIV main story? No. please no.
