    error (30002)1304932740,20115772,5

Dear Square-Enix Technical Support. I've been experiencing connective issues with Final Fantasy XIV since installing the game a few days ago. One moment I would have a green connection, and the next it would turn red, with the "S" icon displaying that it was still sending, and the "R" icon displaying that I was not receiving anything. During combat when this would happen, everyone would freeze around me, and when it returned to green the "R" icon would suddenly display a number as high as the early thousands. I do not experience this issue with other MMO games. In addition to these problems, just yesterday and today the error code (30002)1304932740,20115772,5 keeps appearing every 5 minutes if I'm lucky and then proceeds to kick me off. It's almost infuriating that I paid money to experience this.

    Steps I took to resolve.

I was using Wireless at first, and after reading some solutions decided to go out and buy a new Ethernet cord and connect it directly to my router. The problem persists. so in thinking I might also have a faulty router, I connected it directly to the modem, and yet the problem still persists. I have disabled my firewalls completely, but still to no avail. I had seen a moderator post the following troubleshooting site in hopes of solving the issue.

    http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...qtop&c=5&sc=39
(This page is not helpful for individuals experiencing error code 30002)

I have followed the direction on the support site, power cycled my router and modem, started up my PC with the selective start up to make sure programs were running, but nothing works. I am confident that my ISP is not the culprit to this issue because my internet is running at 100mbps, and I have pinged-tested it with no package loss results. I am very disgruntled that after going out of my way to buy this game, and paying for your services that I am experience such a high volume of errors and cross my fingers you will respond with some manner to resolve this issue.

His solution was replacing his router? I don't think my router is the issue because I've directly connected my Ethernet cord to my Modem and the error still persisted. So I don't think that's my issue, though thanks for the advice!

Are you running anything else (or anyone else in the household) like bit-torrent or other bandwidth heavy stuff? A few years ago I had this problem with FF11, I finally got someone at my ISP to tell me that I was using 99.9% of my download (which was causing my connection to choke).

Since the OP conducted a series of ping tests already, it seems increasingly unlikely that they could have a serious connection issue which would cause this error.

This is not an isolated incident.. there are many users who are consistently disconnected from the game without a clear explanation. An investigation into this problem should be one of the top priorities for the technical team at Square Enix. However, the odd variable in this particular thread would probably be the ISP. Since I haven't met anyone else playing from Korea, I have no idea if others using Korea Telecom experience this problem.
