Downed Titan HM, FINALLY. However...

I finally got a group and downed Titan. After so long it took me to do it. The ISSUE is that I was working on getting my Warrior relic weapon. I downed Titan on my Dragoon(that I got to 50 because NO ONE wants a warrior for Titan.) So what happens? I did NOT receive my chunk of hyperfused ore to complete my relic weapon.

What gives?

NOWHERE in the quest does it say it must be completed on the class specified. It wouldn't even make sense if it were. Just because I'm a dragoon, I can't still pick up a chunk of hyperfused ore off of a dead Titan?

This is CLEARLY either a quest text related bug where it tells you that you need to be a specific class while clearing Titan, OR it bugged and I did NOT receive my hyperfused ore.

The only action I would honestly like to see is that it would get fixed, but I would be VERY pleased if a GM could also progress my quest to the next step because of this.

My character's name is Skoenpfyn Gundam. I cleared Titan at 10:50 PM(-5:00 GMT) on 9/28/2013. PLEASE help me out, because I think I've honestly lost a lot of drive to play this game after that depressing moment of not continuing my relic quest.

you have to be on the class you want your relic wep for and kill titan on it, you cannot be on your dragoon if you want your warrior weapon.

If you're working on Warrior relic it only makes sense that you're supposed to complete the tasks as Warrior as well.

Also I'm surprised you found it easier to get a Titan party as DRG as DRG seems to be way more hated than WAR.
I hope you didn't pay for the win.

Believe it is pretty obvious you need to complete all task on the class you want the relic weapon for so to don't blame someone else for things so obvious.

I don't know why people assume that this is "obvious"? Every other quest in the entire game that says "Obtain X from X" it doesn't matter WHAT class you do it on.

And again, I could COMPLETELY understand if the quest text SPECIFIED "(You must be on <insert class here> to complete this quest)".

It did not say that ANYWHERE in the quest.

Did you get the quest as Warrior or Dragoon? I don't understand why you are so adamant about this.

Let me spoil the end for you: SE isn't going to "fix" this nor are they going to give you said item. You're going to have to do the fight again.

And with a decent team you can tank titan no problem. Just keep thrill of battle for the table flips and pop the Internal release>Inner Beast>Infuriate any time you need to grab some heals.

Convalescence and Vengeance up as much as you can (120cd). Alternate between 2 Macros. 1 is Foresight+Featherfoot when thats down pop a Bloodbath+Berserk. (Those abils all have same cd).

2 Macro'd OHSH** buttons. Internal release>Inner Beast>Infuriate to grab heals after a big hit

And Internal Release > Second Wind.


Just liek a PLD has to pre empt those big hits we've got to react to them.

I'm not asking for a strategy of how to beat Titan as a warrior, that's not the problem. I know how to play the game. This is a bug report that is focusing on the fact that no where in the quest text does it say to the player that they MUST be a specific class. I don't want them to give me credit, I KNOW I can do it. The issue is finding competent healers to do it with, and I happen to get lucky with a pug ONCE.

Anyway, again, I'm not looking for a resolution to my frustration, more so just reporting a bug so maybe some one down the road doesn't get frustrated like I did.

so you did no class quests? ever tried to go do a instance from your drg class quest as warrior? you cant.
