Intsant abilities were actually instant, unlike in this game, where instant abilities have 1-2 second delays, because i really need a silence with a 1.5 second delay....thanks SE /sarcasm

Um, you still have the option to go play WoW
Your right, I do, which means less money for SE and less content for its players in the long run
....So? if you aren't happy, then don't play the game. no one is forcing you, nor will it make a difference that you do leave. It's just one more slot for the people that want to play
I don't think they ever had that many subscribers, think 11.8 or so was their peak, never bothered looking into it though.
I'm pretty sure WoW got that popular because it was released when the MMO genre was still incredibly unpopular and with the name of Blizzard and the IP Warcraft, they managed to pull in many new gamers into the world of MMOs and then it just spread like a wildfire.
The MMO selection back then was incredibly small and limited, so a game like WoW could stand out easily.
There will "never" be another MMO that is released now or in the future that will pull in 11.8m+ subscribers unless it's a revolutionary MMO, so pulling in 1 million is still an incredibly successful MMO.
I think SE's bottom line would like to have a word with you
When 7 million of those are Chinese/Korean subs... then no, 5 million subs does not seem like that many. Even more so considering all the languages (English, French, German, Italian, Russian, 3 kinds of spanish) that those 5 million users were split between.I don't think they ever had that many subscribers, think 11.8 or so was their peak, never bothered looking into it though.

Yeah, I don't think this game is going to get that many people.
Not unless they implement something radically appealing and new enough to gain the attention of the mass market.
Don't get me wrong, it is good as a whole. But it's average in its core mechanics and progression.
Hence why he said "had".
