That TP hack used by the RMT farmers? Yeah, they're using it in HM's now, too...

In a Garuda HM today, and one healer in our group notices the other healer is a Conjurer. Yes, they hadn't picked a job...like, a White Mage. They were doing HM Garuda as a base class, and they barely had 2500 hit points. So, Healer #1 asks Healer #2 what is going on? There was no answer, so we all just decided to go ahead and try anyways.

We get into Phase 2, and we start to notice that Healer #2 (the Conjurer) is taking no damage from anything...yes, that 2500 hit point Conjurer is surviving just fine. But, people start dropping, and that's when I and someone else target the Conjurer to see where they are and monitor how they are still alive.

...We have them targeted, but we can't see them, save for just their name hovering over the grassy area in the middle of the room.

Everyone finally dies, including the Conjurer, to the room-wide AE from both adds being up, and this is when our tank also says he noticed the Conjurer standing right with him with Garuda, kind of half of his body above ground, and never taking damage from slipstream.

So...just a heads up folks. They're not just using the teleport cheat for RMT'ing, they're using it to kill content, too, in ways that allow them to survive when they really shouldn't be able to.

No surprise there, seeing how bots are teleporting all around, those kind of AoE avoiding hacks were just a matter of time.

I wonder if they can teleport to end bosses in dungeons and kill them with the aid of avoidance TP hacking and get tomes of philosophy etc?

Would make for really really quick runs and a viable source of income with the Tomes for crafting items trading.

I would imagine so, since it seems from the videos I've watched, AND from what we just witnessed during the HM Garuda run, they were able to go anywhere they wanted at any time.

They can't teleport into an instance.

But it sounds as if they are doing and cheating instances.
