Future Crossovers

Yoshi-P himself already flat out stated a while ago that character crossovers from other FF games will not occur in ARR for characters whose 'stories are already complete, or are deceased as part of their respective storylines' - so no Cloud or Sephiroth crossovers.

Lightning and Shantotto's upcoming appearances are exceptions, as they are appearing as a result of specific special events (Lightning as cross marketing for Lightning Returns ~ FFXIII and Shantotto as part of FFXI's eleventh anniversary.)

Really, I like fanservice as much as the next fan, but really, this isn't Dissidia Online. I'd rather SE create original concepts for this game rather than just dump characters from earlier titles in for no reason other than to appeal to fans.

The gold saucer will be in Ul'dah, they technically already have the entrance set-up. If you go to the puglist master, there is an npc outside of there that actually talks about the gambling and stuff and that they are not set-up yet for it but will be soon.

As far as I was aware the actual location for the Gold Saucer has not been decided upon (no one even knows what it will even look like, or even if it will be called that - Yoshi-P and the rest of the team haven't said anything on the subject lately). Players have assumed it will be Ul'dah simply because of Ul'dah's lore as being a centre of gambling - the PGL Guild has always had a gambling hall out the front as the lore of the class is that they're hired thugs who collect on gamblers unpaid debts (this is the Platinum Mirage - it was even in 1.0 in the same place).

So I seriously doubt that will be the Gold Saucer for that reason alone.
