need a better blacklist feature

hope the moderators and devs are reading this:

we need a better blacklist feature other than the "add" button at the bottom of the blacklist screen. the <insert insulting name of your choice here> gil-sellers choose crap names that are a pain in the arse to spell.

take a page out of Blizzard's book and add a "Blacklist" AND a "Blacklist and Report Gil Seller" line to your drop down menu. this will help increase your response time to the gil-sellers without frustrating us who might actually want to pay attention to our local chat.

also - the second option will allow annoyed players an easier option to blacklist the botters who private-tell advertise their services.

Select the person's name. Hit Tell. Put quotation marks around the person's name. Replace /tell with /blacklist add. It would read like this: /blacklist add "Dffhsseas Fdadfds"

They just need to do what every other game has done right click name report spammer and auto blacklists. Surprised when started they didn't have a similar function in place yet.

Yes using the quotes and replacing is fine if there wasn't 20new ones to add everyday. Spend way too much time blacklisting than I want to.

Hope there isn't a limit on people can blacklist

I'm on the PS3 and when you click on their name in chatbox you cannot block them. Blocking manually its to easy to mispell, since the text is scrolling constantly once they log onto you. It really puts a pall on things. I think its so hateful what they are doing, please do something SE. I'm about to quit just tired of constant spamming in game. Cannot see chat from other players or game info.

There's this, or there is also what I do. Hit tell, highlight name, click on screen, press O, press add name, ctrl-v, OK. Takes probably about the same time (I prefer just clicking through as opposed to repositioning my cursor and typing).

That said... it's still easier to right-click and report spam/block.

There's a super nice macro for when spammers whisper you, though.
