We're interested in keeping the FC small and close knit, but still having enough members to comfortably raid/group with. If you find you're in a FC full of hundreds of players and getting to know people is impossible, maybe you should consider us.

We're also not looking to recruit just anyone to fill our ranks. We're looking for experienced capable MMO players. That way you can trust our FC members to be helpful, good listeners, fun, outgoing, and good at video games! =)

Another plus! We're not a family friendly FC. Of course the general treat each other with respect, no drama applies, but we're looking to have a good time and be silly. Drink, curse, and be merry!

I like that you went with The Crystal Alliance for the name, it sounds great, and I think it works well with the story, from what I've seen so far. And yes, I snooped; I saw that in your post history.

I haven't joined a FC yet, I think the game is missing a lot to help players find a compatible group, and the cross-server duty finder doesn't help. What time of day do you think you'll be most active? I'm Central US, but have more Eastern US play times, and it's rare that I'll play much past 10 PM Eastern.

Hey Tirocupidus! Yea I love the Cross-Server because it helps DPS get queues a little faster but much much harder to find people from your server and tell if they are any good. Also a lot of people keep /shout & /yell off due to Spammers of Gil. I am EST and when I'm off work im on around Noon till around 5pm and after 10pm till whenever I crash. My work schedule changes but I'm always home by 9:30pm EST. The FC leader is Central and she is 3rd shift so she is on early morning and afternoon and plays 10pm+ EST on weekends.

Definitely agree with you about the cross server duty finder frustrations. When you find that rare amazing group & you would love to friend them for future groups, but you can't. Ugh!

Atm we're slowly building our roster, so its hard to put a definite on our exact play times. If I had to guess, i'd say you'll likely find our FC to be most active in the late afternoon/evening central timezone.
I think our members playtimes are likely going to be a bit scattered though, because we're being so picky on finding really good players & not just random people to fill our roster.

So either you have a huge active FC, but it has minimal members you'd actually enjoy grouping with & duty finder ends up being more appealing or you have a smaller FC where you may have conflicting play times, but you know the other people on are kick ass, helpful, fun & you're excited to play with them when your schedules jive.

Well, I think there's at least some overlap in our play times, and you make a good point, Kabuki. I'm already playing solo except for DF, so I've nothing to lose there. The expectations and rules on your website look good to me, so expect a new app soon. ^^

I apologize, I was under the impression PS3 players had the capability to download a TS3 application, after further research I discovered they do not.
The FC will be using the Voice Chat program called Raidcall. Same thing as Mumble/TS3/Vent.

Just wanted to congrats new recruits and to say I've never laughed so hard over voice chat.
