Android Authenticator Frequently Posts the Wrong Code

I've had this happen several times. Attempt to login, the authenticator app displays with a full bar indicating a new 1-time password. Punch it into the launcher and it fails, close the app, start again, new password, same deal.

Force close the app and finally get the correct password, too late, I'm already locked out of my account for 30 minutes.

hmm... wondering if it's an issue with synchronization. I used to run into it a lot with my token when my XI was still active. Only hit it a couple times with my XIV so far. It's like it's off by 10 or 15 seconds, so I sometimes have to put it in really fast, or wait about 15 seconds and get a new code generated and that one works.

maybe try to uninstall the one time password app, along with using the emergency removal password to get if off your account - then just sign up for a new One Time Password and see if the new one has better synch? i had a problem where my app stopped working on my phone entirely and had to reinstall/sign up for it but i havent had any problems since.

I'm using the Android Authenticator and never ran into this issue yet.
