I was thinking of creating a blog for EpicReset, it's just that actual man hours to maintain and keep it up to date is currently out of my reach... really busy with school and such at this time... Changing careers it a lot harder IRL than in FFXIV lol!

That video is great. But it raises on me sooo many questions!! For starting (beware. I am a total noob on macros! ):

1. How did you automatically change hotbar switching to fighting mode?
2. How can it be so fast? It is something with the tank actions? It's like if using the macro there is no recast time.
3. Icons. Can we really customize the macro icons?
4. Were you using a mouse? That was the PS3 version right? Your HUD looks cleaner than mine.

1. I did a video tutorial called "easier crossbars & targeting" a while back that shows you exactly how to switch crossbars to have a "battle" crossbar.

2. Not sure what you mean by fast, but there is cooldown on the skills applied by the macro.

3. You can manually pick the icon for your macro grid/ macro icon... or you can use the macro code to apply an already known skill icon as the macro icon.

4. Yup, I'm on a PS3. I have a sony bluetooth keypad that attaches to my controller, sometimes when I make videos I attach a mouse and keyboard. The HUD is a new variation of the setup I had before. my setup now is a little different because I had to adjust it for larger party instances.

Yeah, I checked the other video about the crossbar, thank you. I also subscribed!! Your videos are very neat. Anyway, I am not sure it will work very well with mages with healing ability. But I already started reorganizing my hotbar following your tips, I see much space for improving! I just need to spend a couple of hours to make all of them perfect and consistent (I have 3 classes, all the mages).

I'm playing currently with all classes but arcanist. It is a little more cumbersome to have to engage battle stance to see your spells when you are a magic user, but I usually have a crossbar outside of battle that utilizes spells like cure and raise just in case.
