    Hi everyone.

Here are some other leves that my Linkshells commonly abandon for replaying later -- 放棄する (houki suru)

    Camp Broken Water:
Ranine Reveries: 貪欲 (donyoku) for short
All Cracked Up: 卵 (tamago) for short
Dunesfolk for Dinner: ペイスト狩り (pieste kari)

    Nophica's Wells:
    Necrologos: Levinshower: 閃光 (senkou)

    Camp Horizon:
    The Devilet Inside: AZT

If anyone wants to know how to say anything in Japanese, please let me know. ^^

I wish I could meet Japanese players like you on my server Ura I'm going to study Japanese in Akihabara in July if everything goes well so I've been trying to get to know some Japanese players.. No luck so far because none of them are willing to or able to speak English ><

But at least this thread helps me understand simple things for playing this game ><

Japanese people do learn english but just recently there are moves to get American people in my age group 18-25 to go to Japan and teach english because their English teachers there aren't that good, there are new moves to teach kids in Japan english by 7th grade quoting them here "they want it to be a passion for them not a study", so can't wait in the next couple of years there will be kids hopping on XIV to try to practice English with us and not vice versa, will be pretty cool.

Thanks for the thread a couple of these I had picked up from FFXI, but new lingo in XIV needed to be learned thanks again.

You mean they aren't taught English before 7th grade?

I think they just don't want to "embarrass" themselves if they think they can't speak it well enough. However most people in this globe can't speak it well, so that is a bad reason not to speak it lol. I'm sure they'd do better than 50% of people I meet. I mean, they are most likely taught better than say, anywhere outside the West.

    We simply don't give a damn .
