long ranged psychical attacks

Sometimes when I attack with a gladiator or lancer psychical attacks sometimes hit from a long range.

sometimes if a I am pressing a button and running around sometimes I attack from a longer range like if I ran back when I was in range or if the enemy ran back.

this also happen when a mob attacks with a ranged attack, and you are much more away from his range =/
