Playing multiple characters, I constantly sit at 90+ leve across the characters I play. I can turn in 10 quests for 6k in minutes then go onto do other things. I can then get on an "alt" and do the same thing and then another alt and... do the same thing if I really wanted to. I could do 50 turn ins and be set for a while then wait a couple days and do them again. I could even do 10, wait till the next day and do them on the 2nd char then wait till the 3rd day and rinse and repeat. No big deal. I could even level up my other 4 characters I haven't even touched if I really wanted to... but that's not the point.

I posted earlier in the thread many combat oriented ways to earn money and he said he was quitting the game, so everything after his post is... just as pointless. He may not even be reading the thread anymore heh

You are rewarded, just not financially. That's what the crafting and gathering classes are for. A game that rewards you everything for anything all the time quickly becomes boring. You need to struggle a little to make the rewards more enthralling.
I for one don't like having to run through fetch quests just to progress a story, but I still do it.

Game must have a balance between crafting/gathering and other ways to make money. Not everybody likes to craft/gather. Financial reward for non craters is essential to allow people to continue doing that they like not resorting to crafting/gathering. it doesn't matter what you are doing. and yes it's a bad game design when crafters forced to do fetch quests to be able to unlock all of the game's features, good MMO doesn't force people, it just presents content and freedom to do it as well as balanced rewards for doing it. Daily quests are coming perhaps they will fix the issue.

I have played a lot of MMOS and this one is worse in terms of gil generation especially if you are playing a combat class. Awful really. God knows how many people are going to quit at 50 who have no interest in gathering and crafting.

Where is the balance?

OP should stop replying to people and quit already. By the time you level up a job to 50, you should already have 100k+.

It's not hard to farm crafting materials for people even as a DoW. You don't like tedious stuff then stop playing MMOs.

If you don't want to contribute to the community then you should stop playing MMOs.

Stop replying to people trying to help you with "no I'm not going to do that because it's not why I play this game", then stop playing MMOs.

In this game, gil is not needed at all unless you want to level up crafts. The amount of gil you get each day is enough to sustain your DoW. It seems you have other motives to want to have a lot gil coming free to you everyday. You said it yourself that you were only getting enough gil to sustain what you were doing.

At level 32 - 34 i was getting a solid 320 Gil per Brayflox run as i went full DF, would often pick up an extra 400 via Allagan Currencies. so thats about 700 gil per 30 minute dungeon run, not to mention all the Aetherial loot i get to Spiritbond and sell cheap on the MBs for crafters to socket their gear with as they level a DoW and can Meld for themselves.

Allagan currencies and first time bonuses are in every dungeon Ive run so far, Primals, CM and TP being the exception with Allagan Currencies.

Oh but wait .. you're probably a speed runner who wont go near the trash thats guarding all that Gil ... Hrmmm.
Did you never consider running your non raid dungeons in 47 - 49 loot instead of your full Darklight/ilvl70 and copping maaaaybe 200 gil on a bad repair?
