Yeah... okay. OP wants money, doesn't wanna put in any effort. Awesome.

ye i guess your right , only way to play game is to play something you dont enjoy (gatherer) which is to me something im not willing to pay for :S shame but im not too bothered about playing lol i was just hoping if there wsas another way but as i expected their isntYou picked the wrong game type. MMO is about being part of a world and while your class of choice may be all about the stabbing and killing you are still part of the economy and therefore you need to take up a way to crate gill for yourself.
Gathering might be an easy option for you. Pick up stuff and then sell it on the AH.
Mining, Botany, are good for gathering.
Don't expect SE to just let you play without doing something like that.
In FFXI i would farm or gather for gil.shame really
You've been given several combat activities to get gil: farm materials from mobs to sell to crafters, farm philosophy tomes to turn into craft materials to sell to crafters, sell materia.ye i guess your right , only way to play game is to play something you dont enjoy (gatherer) which is to me something im not willing to pay for :S shame but im not too bothered about playing lol i was just hoping if there wsas another way but as i expected their isntshame really
Yup your not wrong lol i guess i just dont wanna do it cos its boring, ill farm tombstones which is tedious enough but add gathering and that is just to much grind for me personally, way too much effort when all i want to do is enjoy teh game i pay sub for everymonth maybe im lazy? but then i work 50 hours a week so maybe im not![]()
No it isn't a shame. Its perfectly fine as it is with plenty of options to make money.ye i guess your right , only way to play game is to play something you dont enjoy (gatherer) which is to me something im not willing to pay for :S shame but im not too bothered about playing lol i was just hoping if there wsas another way but as i expected their isntshame really
Dungeons, (doesn't have to be end game dungeons), Guildhests, levequests, sidequests (if you haven't done them already), wait for 2.1 when they are supposed to have some daily quests, gathering, (lowest gil making choice) fate farming, farm monsters for materials and sell on market/vender, start a new character doing the quests and have a friend help you transfer gil or use your FC vault.
If you can't find a way to make gil with those... not sure what to tell you.
(I left out crafting and selling on market on purpose)

i do all them things, except farm monsters for materials and i dont make gil, because soon as you have to repair you lose what you just madeNo it isn't a shame. Its perfectly fine as it is with plenty of options to make money.

That's because you don't want to do what you call "boring" things. I make 600+ gil a turn in on crafting levequests by turning in HQ items I craft. Even battle levequest are pretty much insta gil for about 5 - 10 minutes of work.
doesnt matter anyway problem solved i just play until sub ends , was still a good deal £20 for over a month of enjoyment im happy![]()
Yeah, making money doing crafting leves is kind of an inefficient waste of time and leve allowance(unless you're leveling a craft at the same time). Wear rings and other accessories(rubellite rings are good and cheap for melee dps), hop into a praetorium, CM run, dark devices fate and spiritbond the accessories and then sell the materia on the market. Easily the best way to make money if you don't want to bother with crafting or gathering.
This doesn't make sense. If you choose a crafting/gathering class, that's the class you've chosen. You can always switch back to something else. That's the advantage of this game. You can be any class you want at virtually any time.
