    Dodge stat?

    As a tank I notice that I completely dodge attacks sometimes but I don't see a Dodge statistic in the character information screen. Featherfoot increases evasion so I suppose we have a hidden evasion stat? It also makes me ponder if a stat like DEX is affecting Dodge and we don't know it because the tooltip doesn't mention it. :\ Since DEX is the main stat for Bards, I wonder if Bards notice a higher dodge rate?

    I'm very curious on this too.

    I notice I dodge a -tonne- as a paladin, including boss attacks I should have been able to walk out of if i get clipped at the edge of the red cones. It feels like I have about a 10% dodge rate as a base, from vague feel, but I have no idea where this comes from. I don't have featherfoot as a cross-class of course, and there's no actual "Dodge" stat/percent listed anywhere, so whatever I have as my dodge percentage is purely from standard stats and darklight-level tank gear.

    I wonder if it's some function of Defense, or Dex, or purely related to Mob Accuracy (if you "miss" an attack, is that registered in parses as a Miss or an enemy Dodge?). Either way dodging feels strong so it would be great to know if there was some way to increase it via gearing.

    When the scrolling combat text "Dodge" appears on the screen, the combat log says "Enemy misses you" if an auto attack and "The attack misses you" if it's an ability. It appears that accuracy is indeed part of the equation. But there could still be a hidden evasion stat. I wonder if Featherfoot actually increases a dodge statistic or if it simply just lowers the enemy's accuracy against you.

    Ahh i'd missed that. That makes sense then. Would also mean that Blind debuffs like traited Flash will increase your Dodge chance on things... and thus Flash can help you avoid actual boss abilities like Garuda's slipstream. Interesting...

    Slipstream is actually magic, you can't dodge magic but you can use spirits within to silence it.

    I can absolutely guarantee that I've dodged many slipstreams, having farmed her about 50 times in 3 days for a friend's weapon. Slipstream (Dodge) has been regularly in my scrolling log. Maybe slipstream is a Physical Ability instead, but perhaps most likely Dodge is also used when you fully resist something via elemental resist?

    You can dodge Slipstream, you can dodge Repulse as well - it's based on your Evasion stat. Evasion is hidden and as far as I have seen it can only be modified by using Featherfoot.

    I've yet to see any information suggesting hidden modifiers in this game.

    Parry Rate and Evasion are both "blind" stats that you'd have to test. Parry Rate is modified by DEX - this is stated by the tool tip and can be tested. Evasion is never mentioned outside of Featherfoot, is "blind", and thus is entirely impossible to accurately test.

    What we do know is that it appears the order is: Evade(Dodge)>Block>Parry for which effect will activate.

    You can dodge magic.

    It's the reason I use featherfoot against Horde Lights in AK. I'm pretty sure I've dodged Ifrit's breath before too...

    Why is anyone even talking about Slipstream? You can dodge Slipstream 100% of the time just by moving out of the way <_<;
