The Siren Community Forums

Now you might ask yourself: Who is this guy? Why did he create a separate website if SE provided us with this one?

Well.... I'm Somm Diggedy. Leader of the Linkshell Leaders of Siren. Which has approx. 100 FC leaders all cooperating to create a more positive environment for YOU the members of Siren. Here's the Lodestone Link for Proof!

Now I created the Community Forums for multiple reasons. It's a place where we can share our thoughts in a more organized setting than just having to bump your threads every few days. Also, the website has things like community photo albums. It's a great place for people to come look at the calendar and see who is running player-made events.

Yes! Player-made events. Like our recent Siren Community event which took place on 9/24 in Central Shroud. Where a massive amount of people showed up (seriously people started going invisible and I had trouble keeping track of them). The event raised 120k gil in donations (30k of which I put up myself) and additional minion prizes. The first 5 people were winners. Unfortunately, I forgot to record their names for the website. However, I'm sure if you hear about the guy who won 60k gil for running around Central Shroud trying to find hiding Community members, you'll know where he won that ^_^.

So please, it takes more than me posting here and running my events to build the community. I need YOUR help. Together we can make Siren a great place to play!

PS: There's no character limit on those forums either!

Hello

I agree; it would be nice to see more people active on the forums here. Tried starting a thread called "Siren Yearbook" where ppl could post a pic of their character if they wished to (including an optional quote). So far 119 views, but no other pics lol... oh well, perhaps one day... maybe everyone is busy in Eorzea or working on their pose heh. Link for that thread is here btw:
