This thread is not about how cool is you group this thread is about the inconsistency of the AoE mechanics over several fights. You aren't supposed to react to Weight, you're supposed to preemptively move.
Start moving 2 seconds after Tumult or 2 second after the Mountain Buster following bombs.
With that said, my group is located all over North America and none of us have issues dodging Weight, even if we react instead of preempting it.
AoE always works how they are supposed? no so is a problem.

I'm going to throw in my two cents: I've had no problems dodging EVERYTHING that the game has thrown at me. Currently on the Coil, have had ZERO problems with Titan.
I'm going to chalk most of these "latency problems" up to people assuming that because they're out of the AoE before the boss/monster actually attacks, they're safe. You're only safe if you move out before the casting bar is finished, something that happens before the attack even goes off.
That's not to say that the servers have never screwed people over before. I've seen a GIF of someone in Turn 2 who was clearly out of Repelling Cannons BEFORE the casting bar was finished. But the few incidents I've seen are not indicative of the community's problems as a whole.
Start dodging better, and especially learn Titan's rotation. If you know you have to move before you actually have to move you can save your party a lot of time by just not getting hit by plumes or bombs.
Why? Do you even know what you are taking about? Or are you just saying this because SE is slow. Its not hard to get this crap set up, and it does not take month, or even weeks.
The fact that SE thought it was a good idea to have all NA/EU servers in the same data center in Montreal is baffling to me. Realistically they should have been working to beef up their server farm and farm locations during beta3 and beta4. Why server space, and location are still even an issue a month after launch, and months after betas is beyond me.
As for the Titan issue.. I do not have nearly the same problem avoiding stuff as some ppl are claiming. The red circles work find, and seemingly as intended. Every once in a while it will feel laggy, and one will not get avoided as appears on the players client, but it is no where near every single one. I can even go whole fights without seeing this issue once.
im not subscribing for it only gets worse after titan, the people who say it works fine are not very smart (cant say what I really want or banned again) ive stop playing now but looks they wont fix this issue so good bye ff14 another failure
PS I beat titian by running into his push move it was the only way for me
A tip. Subscribe to a tunneling service such as Battleping. It helps out immensely with Titan to the point that I no longer need to bother with remembering the rotation, and I'm a Healer.

I believe that SE already know this complain. However as much as they know the issue, I don't think they know how to improve the server respond time.
WHat is that? and how could it improve the ISP ping issue?
FFXIV : ARR all instance boss gameplay video can be found here..

Going to look into this today, a few guys in my FC were mentioning this, and the phrase "ISP throttling" was tossed around. This was after a Hydra fight that the strangest thing kept happening.
I would zone in and cast Prot, and SS and then the game would literally rewind superfast, I mean folks moving in reverse and everything, I was like W.....T........F is going on with my machine. Its not that by the way I have a top-end machine complete with RAID-0 SSD's duel 660gtx's SLI 12 GB of DDR3 1600, 6 core I7, with 1200 watts powering it.
I am EXTREMELY happy with the game, but these bandwidth and throttling issues can use more work.
I know what you mean, and i belive you it is not case of i lost so lets blame lag.
I am lucky or unlucky, sometimes i have great connection, and sometimes i fully experience what you described here.
For me it changes randomly for instances, for eg in cutters cry i could not run from chimera, then few minutes later Brayflox's Longstop last boss could never hit me.
It is not issue of my PC, it runs FFXIV at 90-100 fps in towns, so it should get even more in instances.
Sorry but no...
There are issues. I do not have access to either the code or servers to determine where they are but they do exist. Go play WoW, Aion, Tera, TSW, etc... In those games when you are out of the AOE you are out of the AOE and take no damage. That is not the case here, it was not the case in SWTOR at launch. It was fatal to SWTOR, hopefully SE gets their heads out of their asses before it is fatal here.
FFXIV checks with the server for nearly everything. Some other MMO's, such as WoW, allow the client to handle some of these such as X,Y,Z positioning which makes the game seem "quicker" when its really not, its just how its displayed. However that makes a huge difference, when dealing with 1-2s effects.
