Sorry I am getting annoyed if not highly irritated with this RUMORED theory.
If your talking about the letter of appology? Then you guys misread it and never looked at announcements talking about how they had server stability issues. Which I would believe lead to alot of the "missing conent" that ended up getting scraped anyway. Remember beta clients are not exactly built like a full client. It has a down graded "firewall" if you wanna call it that which allows bugs to be seen and handled.

Sorry id like to see concrete evidence on how ffxiv was a rish job. And trust me with all the games I've played I know what a rush job looks like.

You think SE had content sitting there but due to server "instability" didn't release that content and then decided to scrap it? this wouldn't sound right to any thinking person.
