    Cool so that partly answers my question but if I wait for my 90 day sub to kick in then buy the PS3 version will it add another 30 days to my account?

    Yes, you would get an additional 30 days.

    4.2 Thirty Days of Free Play Per Service Account Per Platform
    If you subsequently purchase a PlayStation version of the Licensed Software, then you will receive another Free Period on you existing FFXIV Service Account.
