i'm just trying to prepare myself for warrior and i'm kinda curious when steel cyclone would be more useful than 2x overpower?

Steel Cyclone is a waste of GCD / Infuriated. That doesn't mean that sometimes I don't use it with blood bath up when I'm tanking large packs, but it's just a waste.

so there is no hidden effects/xtremely hgh enmity multipliers with this skill? and that it is just an aoe ability with 200 potency?

1) Steel Cyclone=circular AoE; Overpower=conal AoE.

2) Overpower=130 TP. Steel Cyclone=5 stacks of Wrath, no TP.

3) Overpower generates enmity equal to 4 times the amount of damage caused. When you're using Defiance, abilities generate twice the normal amount of enmity. So if you use Defiance and Overpower and cause 100 damage, you'll get the same amount of enmity as if you caused 800 damage.

Steel Cyclone has no enmity multiplier. If you use Defiance, you still get the 2x benefit to enmity. So if you use Defiance and Steel Cyclone and cause 100 damage, you'll get the same amount of enmity as if you caused 200 damage.

4) Overpower=120 potency. But when you use Defiance, you lose 35% of your attack damage. So when you're using Defiance, Overpower has an effective potency of 78.

Steel Cyclone=200 potency, unaffected by Defiance. So when you use Defiance, Steel Cyclone will still have a potency of 200.
