Really wish SE had detailed instructions about EVERYTHING pertaining to these kinds of things...
Yeah, it's pretty silly that they don't have clear documentation on some of their commands. For /wait, though, a number of people have actually spent the time testing the values you can input (mostly for crafting macros), and the .5s all round up to the next closest whole number.

Since the .5 is still adding a full second to the wait timer, anything that needs that extra second to activate will work with the .5. If you put .4, though, it'll probably break again, since that rounds down instead of up.

Are you putting quotes on either side of the skills ?

    /micon "Resurrection"
    /ac "Swiftcast"
    /wait 1
    /ac "Resurrection" <t>

If you want to test this, go to halitali dungeon entrance there are always lots of dead bodies there.

    To the person under me:-

People using game pads have limited space, otherwise you are forced to flick through sets and that can end up being disastrous.

I'm just curious... why do people use a macro for this? Is it for convenience, or do you simply not have the space for two separate buttons? I don't like using macros, especially ones with 'wait' in them, because of the slight delay macros have in this game. I have three bars for my abilities, and that is more than enough for every ability I will be using in battle (including Swiftcast and Res, which I can throw off very fast without any delay). I even have extra slots for marking. I'm not saying macros have no place in this game... they are very useful in certain situations... but I'm just curious if there is a reason people like macroing this that I'm just not seeing.

Don't use a macro for this. Half the time it won't work right and you'll be fumbling around trying to manually cast Rez anyway. At least, that was my experience with it.

Macros seem largely worthless for anything combat related, thanks to "instant" abilities not being instant.

Yes, but apparently single word abilities/spells do not need them.

I had my friend help me out with it last night and I figured out what the problem was on the first try... It's because when you (I) use Swiftcast (or any ability like that I presume) you lose your subtarget. So what was happening was it was trying to Resurrect whatever my main/primary target was. I still haven't decided what exactly I want to do with the macro but at least I figured out what was the issue. I guess I can either just main target the KO'd person, be quick and get the subtarget circle back onto the KO'd person during the /wait or I could just take the /wait out and spam it until it happens

Technically I have space but I was trying to cull my Cross Hotbar(s) and since as a SCH I currently only use Swiftcast for Summoning or Resurrecting I figured I'd just macro it into those abilities and take it off my bars.
