I think what OP said is a pretty good idea, just needs a gear check before hand and/or for pre-made parties only. I also like what Shogun said with the leve chains, and it'd be especially nice if it got you to explore the world more. Raims suggestions are nice too and if they implemented all these things it would go a long way to fixing repetitive FATE grinding.

Ya sorry I corrected myself, FATEs will stay the same, dungeons will be balanced to be more attractive as a leveling option - for those that want to do something not mind-numbing, if you want to spam FATEs by all means.

My opinion for this is...they will never make anything uther than Fates worth the time.
Leme give u an example.You can lv a caracter from 1-50 only in fates in few days.In fates after lv 35 or 40 u get like one lv per hour.What incrise do they need to give in xp earning from a dungeon run to compete with that much xp the fates give?
You need items from time to time but dungeons its the solution?No!You will get always Grand Companies items as you do Fates u get Tokens and here you have it,no need to do dungeons till lv 50 to get gear.
They need to do somthing to compete with the Fates...becouse once you hit lv 50 with a job the game will be empty for the rest of the jobs you want to lv to 50.
- Make Guildhests and Leves get the +50% extra XP for lowbie class. Why are FATEs the only thing getting the bonus?
- Increase mob base XP in dungeons. Instead of a low base amount and a +200% bonus tacked on top of it which makes the +50% lowbie bonus almost worthless, increase the base XP, so for a mob that gives you 1600 XP, you'd get more than 266 XP bonus for playing a secondary class.
Those two changes would solve a lot of problems, I think.

Give lower level dungeons a type of Tome when levelling lower level classes which are different from Myth and Philo.
And to prevent the Speed Run mentality put in a % medal, for example - if you clear all mobs you get 100% tomes. 75% then you get less etc etc.
Even introduce super rare crafting items that have a higher chance of dropping from trash mobs with a lower level class.
This way new players can clear all the content without skipping it all via speed running.
