    Vote to kick option add

We really need this option in the group run instance. Some players just join the game and left with cut scene. Since he/she is not active in this run, why cant we kick them? We need 8 active players to play, not 7. Please add this for the next patch

Generally would agree... There needs to be a way to remove party members who are only there to get carried through an instance, or who just want to create trouble.

But on this note, I believe that kicking a player should not be allowed if they are in cutscene unless they are in the cutscene much longer than it should take. The main reason being that there are those who would instantly kick any player who wants to view the cutscenes because it is their first time and they actually care about the game story.

like you said, some players just leave and let the cutscene stay there forever. You cant do anything about it. Either quit the run and wait 15 min. So you have to piss off and run the instance. I am wondering SE had ever thinking about this problem?

Vote to Kick is absolutely needed, if SE has any interest in the Duty Finder being a useful and enjoyable feature. However, any time this topic comes up there's always a few people who just say "no vote kick will be abused" and leave it at that. So, here are a few limitations/solutions that I think would help minimize abuse:

    - New players (characters who have not successfully completed the dungeon before) cannot be kicked. A new player could still troll the group, but realistically I don't see this happening at all. Nobody acts like that in a dungeon they still need to complete for story mode, and all the trolls who are causing problems today are people who have already finished the dungeon. Besides, by definition, whatever X% of players this includes is still smaller than the 100% who can't be kicked today.

    - No kicks may take place during combat, no kicks while loot is being rolled on, and no kicks after final boss has been defeated. No kicking a player in the first few minutes of them entering a dungeon, for any reason. I'm tempted to include something about kicking just before the final boss, though I'm not sure about the particulars.

    - In a Light Party, you need 3 out of 4 players to pass a vote to Kick. In a full party, you need either 6 or 7 out of 8 (I'm not sure of exact number in this case, perhaps the requirement could fluctuate based on circumstances).

    - There should probably be limits on the amount of kicks a player can vote in per day, or perhaps a cooldown on kicking for any particular group.

    - Replacements for kicked players must be drawn from the random Duty Finder pool. Maybe you can manually invite a friend or FC member if the party was fully put together before originally entering the dungeon (I can imagine ways that might be abused, but they seem rare/impractical enough not to be a widespread problem).

    - A player who is kicked while "disconnected" will count as having abandoned the group, and will suffer the penalty for leaving. Apologies to those of us who get legitimately disconnected against their will, but this is necessary to deter the players who intentionally "disconnect" rather than leave.

    - The penalty for leaving is increased in general, and further increased with each group you abandon per day. Penalty for leaving a group that includes a first-timer is also increased.

    - Boss rooms cannot be entered unless all players are alive and within a reasonably small radius from the entrance to the room.

I agree....to an extent, but I think there needs to be some rules set down, because lets face it a lot of higher levels are kind of up themselves and would literally abuse the kick feature, lets say they have a noob with them who just doesn't play the game very well from lack of experience...it wouldn't be fair to kick them.

Agreed, however I would hate to see players abused because of their skill, if they refuse to communicate however that is their own issue.

Totally agreed 100% and I've been a huge advocate of this feature after a venerable wave of trolls and more recently a botter lurking in the Duty finder. However yes guidelines do need to be set in place to prevent abuse of the system. The good old "majority vote" ideal is what I feel is most appropriate. Maybe as a secondary filter to stop abuse have a pop up "reason" confirmation choice selection as to why the party is voting to kick the player? Well good reasons of coarse. I honestly don't feel its right to kick a player new to a fight, especially not in the story dungeons. More or less so because by using DF? You're going to run into players new to fights from time to time. Its a potluck party, not a static party. Absolutely never should a player be kicked for wanting to watch a cut scene in my humble opinion.
