Aurum Vale - morbol bosses as SCH

I've been having trouble with this dungeon on SCH sometimes. The morbols have their poison wave which you get rid of after a few stacks with the fruit. However, I cannot do this for my faerie. I can spam Sustain which does help, but sometimes it's not enough and I'm so busy that if I miss doing it even once, my faerie can end up dying as she has 5 stacks or so of the poison. On top of that, I know she will heal herself but it also means she isn't healing the others - and I don't know how she prioritises her heals. Essentially, the two morbol bosses in AV mean that SCH have a natural disadvantage here. Usually if she dies, it feels like the odds of winning drop dramatically. I can resummon of course, but it's precious seconds during a fight where you're not looking after the tank (I am working on Swiftcast ;x) Any suggestions?

You pretty much answered your own question: Swiftcast. That ability will make a huge difference during that fight.

If no swiftcast from not having THM lvld or it simply being on CD pretty much what I do on SCH and SMN is once I got two stacks on myself I heal everyone best I can and then eat my fruit and immediately start summoning.

I had no problem whatsoever with the Morbols. Even the final boss won't kill your fairy since she doesn't put a dot.

The only one that gives problems is the first boss since it puts a heavy dot on her. I usually re-summon her as soon she gets the first dot.

The first boss, I think I had to resummon Eos once halfway through (resummon her when you have 1 stack of poison, I did this even without swiftcast, no problem), and then she may have died one more time, but it was close enough to the end of the fight that I didn't even bother. The last boss, she never actually died on me, even though she had like 12 stacks on her.

I ran that dungeon twice, the first time was with a tank who didn't know the fights, and we wiped so many times we didn't even beat the 2nd boss. The 2nd time I ran it, the tank knew what he was doing, and I was amazed at how easy the fights were compared to the first time. Was like night and day - it almost felt like one the easiest dungeons in the game. So if everyone's eating their fruit when they should, you should be fine, even if Eos dies a couple times.

I just went through there for the first time last night without any trouble. As soon as she died I just used Swiftcast and resummoned her...like everyone else here lol. I don't know how else to get around it.

I waited until she died to do it, and I only had to do it once thankfully.

That dungeon is brutal for Arcanist pets. The final boss is much easier than the first because you can use Place much more reliably, but the pets are almost guaranteed to die on the first. It's already been said but Swiftcast is your friend. If all else fails, you can still heal through it without the fairy if your group is on top of eating fruits correctly. Physick spam can work, but you may not have time to use Leeches if you have to resort to this. Oh and be careful using Sustain. Your HP is already low and one bad hit and you're gone if you have to use it too much. Stoneskin and Adloquim/Succor on her can help a bit too. If you use Sacred Soil, make use of the Succor procs.

Just try as hard as you can to keep Eos off of those gold puddles and you'll save at least a couple of her untimely demises.

Just sharing what I've learnt after grinding this instance from 47-50.

    1) randomly target a person close to them with 2 stacks. So try not to send the faerie too close to it.

    2) There are always a short gap between before clearing and after clearing debuff, where I will re summon my faerie by casting (usually the inc dmg are low during those period), make sure you top up others first. it's just a more painful way of refreshing your faerie, but it helps.

    3) I tried keeping my faerie up, and the only circumstances that made it impossible was when the faerie got 9 stacks for last boss, or around 5 stacks for first boss when it's ticking for half its health.

    4) stoneskin the bugger before engaging and hope your dps will end the fight before you have to revive her the second time. LoL.

It is harder to keep the faerie alive on first boss as compared to last boss due to the constant damage going on on everyone. However, it's a confirm 1-shotter when the last boss debuff stacks to 8-9. Faerie's uptime makes first boss fight much easier, but for last boss, it's not so much about healer's but about dps-ers killing eggs/adds quick enough.

As I gained more experiences healing this dungeon, I would just let the bugger die because it is well manageable within our MP capacity, it's just a whack-a-mole game. I would still suggest you to rez it if you're comfortable on the overall hp level of the party though.

    Just my 2 cents.

A big issue waiting for 5 or so stacks on the first boss to resummon her is that she will just be spam curing herself and nothing else thus making it like she wasn't even there.
