Why are people farming primals for weapons other than conmpletion?

Get gc weapon, get relic, go die in turn 5. See you in 2.1.

If you want to complain about a time sink for wepaons, complain about the fact that every relic takes 4.5-5 hours in castrum (longer than the rest of the quest combined).

After first relic, every subsequent relic should cost 0 or 300 stones (easily done by having the quenching oil cost 300 and require 3 for first relic and only 1 for later). I personally love the relic quest other than that, it is a great series of fights to teach you a class so that by the time you have relic you know enough about your class to go into coil (assuming you have the gear). Grinding cm teaches me nothing (except that tis possible to use a summoner to tank cm and go in as 1 whm / 7 dps).

Also: 1.0 was worse. Way worse. At least gc weapons are an option now (which they weren't for the bulk of 1.0 when ifrit weapons mattered).

I do think they should put in a token system though, just cus its inconsistent with other content--I'd have my titan bow if this was in.
