SE Banning players with large amounts of gil?

Who in their right minds would, on an official forum of all places, admit that they bought gil from RMT? Exactly.

If they really were banning people only based on the amount of gil, they'd have to ban most of the legacy players. I knew enough people who were at the gil cap. That's 999 999 999 999 gil, mind you.

That argument doesn't really hold up considering it'd be very easy for SE to check whether or not the account is legacy or or not...

Also on the other hand, why would guilty people come to the forum and act innocent? There is nothing to gain from it. It's one thing to act innocence when talking to customer support though...

Its called diversion/diversionary tactics. Enough gil buyers/sellers come and say SE wrongfully banned them makes SE look in the wrong instead of them. The pity party would eat it up.

In my experience, the crafters are the least likely people to have bought gil. The only people I know who have bought gil are people who play a DoM or DoW class and were running out of gil and/or wanted to start and/or complete their relic quest.

I believe it's just people with a large amount of Gil. I started playing on Gilgamesh as soon as phase 4 / early release came out with the intent of getting a gathering class to 50 and then to start crafting ASAP in order to make myself ton's of Gil so that I wouldn't have to worry about any money issues when I started leveling my Disciples of War / Magic. I made over 10 million gil this way in the first few weeks the server came out, because everyone was in a mad rush to get their relic items created. (Hundreds upon hundreds of players on one of the most populated servers looking to the only 1-2 Crafters on the entire server that can make the relic weapon they need = tons of profit).

I never made a 2 star recipe item on that character, EVER. After the initial rush and prices died down, I decided to start on the new server that opened with my friends because they could not get onto Gilgamesh since it was always full.

I haven't played on my Gilgamesh character in over two weeks, and I still got suspended.

What reason would I have to buy Gil, having multiple crafting classes at 50 and also a 50 miner? I made PLENTY of profit by starting gathering / crafting first, their was/is absolutely no reason for me to buy Gil. You can look up both my characters, "Lalafell Lafell" and "Fate Forever" to see just how active I was in crafting and gathering.

I don't believe they'll ban many innocents (can happen, but it's very unlikely), and I don't believe they ban someone who has a lot of money just because he has a lot of money.

They do? hell no, they just banned every millionaire, just like that.

I killed and farmed things for about roughly 3 hours. I made 200k. Without telling you how I made money and giving away my trade secret and If I continued this path, I would be a millionaire in a few days. I would be simply selling items I farmed and putting them on the marketplace. Would this constitute for a ban?

I'm sure farmbots are very lucrative .. RMT clearly think so, I wonder if others do too.
