High-level crafters beware: You get suspended if you sell to players who bought gil

    Source: http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/commen..._suspended_if/

    Source Update:
Edit2: I just got off the phone with support. The support fellow (very helpful) let me know that the account is banned for 72 hours for RMT investigation. He put me on hold for a few minutes and came back to let me know that his colleagues are all dealing with calls about this as well - his best guess is that they blanket banned folks with a lot of gil and will be figuring out which are RMT and which aren't. This is a terrible way of going about this, but it's better than directly being banned for the titular reason.
Edit 3: A more apt title, now that I have more information and my best educated guess has changed based on that new information, would be: SQUARE ENIX ISSUING BLANKET 72H BAN TO PLAYERS WITH AT LEAST 8M GIL WHILE THEY INVESTIGATE RMT. See the rest of the post below for more detail.
Happened today to an FC Member of us aswell, he was also crafting HQ 2 stars and selling them on the marketplace and per trade requests and got banned due to no reason.. i mean HOW on earth should some1 know if some other dude got his 700k gil via AH, grinding or if he had bought it over RMT????

NEVER seen such an unfair situation in any MMO ive played so far. Normally the GIL buyer should get banned not the ppl they trade with.... simply because u can never KNOW for sure as a person if the other individual plays the game fair or got the gil on a legit way.

Kudos to the other ppl which got a temp ban hope u get your stuff back!
