I'm guessing you haven't tried Titan yet. Most people, not all, know how to survive the Titan fight, they've just been very unlucky finding 7 other people to do it with. Sure you can spend hours queuing up to the Duty Finder. Or even port around to different areas on your server to find geared and experienced players. But at the end of the day, it's still a gamble.

Some people want to skip that time waste and get help. Some people are plain lazy. Some people are in a rush.

The option is there, no one is forcing you to get carried.
