    How do I know if I hit the attributes cap? For example, hitting vitality cap?

    how would I know?

    If you attempt to meld an item with say +4 VIT and it says, this item's level is too low bla bla bla... It should also display a red number between +0 and +3 in this case letting you know how much more VIT the item can take.

    For this reason I try to keep at least one rank IV materia of the kind I'm melding at all times so it's easier to find the cap.

    I think he is talking about like how 1.0 had a number in where adding more to a stat had 0 effect. i dont believe this exists in 2.0.
