    Improving Performance on PS3

    Are there any settings that can be adjusted or disabled in order to improve visual performance on the PS3? I'm just trying to make it playable - right now the fighting framerate is next to intolerable.

    In character configuration > character there are options to alter the battle effect settings. Own/Party/Others Show All/Show Limited/Show None. There also settings for 'Effects While in Motion' which can be switched off. Not quite sure what this one does!

    Might mean effects like splash in water, or the "heat haze" effect in the desert, which is most noticable while moving *shrugs*
