FATEs reduce people's IQ levels

Personal rant but, would healers at least remember to heal in FATEs? I just tanked the named fate Go, Go, Gorgimera and got hit by one of his attacks half my health gone. I was on this half health for a good long period of the fight and not a single heal was thrown my way. Sure enough due to latency I got hit by another of his attacks and down I go, the train proceeds to finish the boss off and leave all the dead people behind. Oh and I got a silver, was there from the start and tanked him the whole time.

TLDR: Heal your tanks please? Not all of us are terrible like the ones you find in duty finder.

Were you in a party? If not try that next time. Healers are afraid to heal because it may or not be as effective as doing dmg. I hear a lot of healers that say if they only heal they never get gold.

I wasn't no. However always being the target of the boss should make it a lot easier to heal me since I was always it's target. Also group or not is no reason to leave myself and a few others behind dead on the field...I love tanking but if it's getting to the point where healers are afraid to do their job and just go DPS, I'll role a healer myself as soon as I hit 50 which should be in the next hour or so.

If you're willing to tank a notorious monster in a fate, and you're not in a party, then don't get mad if no one heals you. Remember, these are people that have no connection to you, they could careless and honestly, they're not required to heal or revive you. If you want to tank in fates, and expect heals, then join a party. I see no reason as to why a healer should sacrifice rewards to heal or revive someone. It's nice when they do, but NEVER expect it.

Working on my CNJ now and I heal random people all the time in the fates I've done and still get gold, no they weren't in my party and I even got thanked for the heals...thanked for heals? Clearly there is an issue since I have NEVER been thanked for tanking.

I'm dumbfounded that you think i give a crap about what you do as a healer. I'm also not the only one that has said 'healers get less rewards'. If you don't care about receiving a smaller reward, well that's you, others aren't the same way.

You're a fly on the wall to them. So if you don't want to die in a FATE cause you're not getting healed, then let someone else tank it. Simple as that. Suddenly you are on the offensive basically insulting me because I have a problem with healers not healing the main target of the boss in fates? I turn the boss away from everyone, avoid as much damage as I can, stun if I am able to to stop others being hit by red stuff and try to position as best I can. What thanks do I get for it? No heals, left dead on the floor due to one mistake and a god damn lecture from you about how I shouldn't expect any heals at all because you are all too lazy to click on the target of target and throw out a cure. Thank god I've leveled my tank class to 50, never tanking fates again if this is yours and most everyone's attitude towards them. Then you guys all wonder why good tanks are in short supply...

Also I have never gotten "less rewards" for healing like I said before, I pretty much always get gold for throwing out heals and actually made friends by doing this, can you say the same Mr. I only heal party members?

disgusting attitude and these are the people that I absolutely loathe when doing Fates. People have to remember that we all work together to get the reward. If the tank dies then he can no longer protect the healer who is out to get the reward, therefore it is in the healer's best interest to heal the tank. I've actually seen this happen in real time at CPP and the Chimera proceeded to wipe everyone doing the Fate because healers were too lazy to heal the tank. If they have a problem with targeting tanks then buy a freakin mouse so they can easily click on them, it's not that hard. I'm sure everyone has a usb mouse lying around, yes, it works on PS3.

Yea, thats what i do, usually i can tank the fate boss if i wanted to, But i never use emnity moves as to not get aggro.
These idiots in fates wont heal me, i wont tank, ill just watch and laugh when idiot dps and healers run around like headless chickens , die, boss goes to the next idiot, they die, haha..

They want to play solo, go your hardest, im making sure i look out for number one, ME, you guys all seem to not care....

And this is the attitude that is killing the mmorpg scene. The selfish, self centered attitude. As if partying up in your average Fate is a 100% possibility. As a healer, I always look for people getting wailed on and heal them. Why not? I'm not required to do it, but I've never needed a reason to be helpful.
