Titan HM and DPS

So, so wrong. Aside from heart mode being on a timer, every time he repeats the final stage (as seen in NyneAlexander's signature), his stomps do one more stomp. This means that if your DPS is low, he'll repeat his rotation several times and the stomp becomes unmanageable, not matter how much HP and cure spam you have. tl;dr: Titan is a huge damage check. (he's also a dirty whore)

We killed Titan with 2 pal, 4 DPS and one DPS died right after heart part. Dmg isn't issue. Died man with relic is worse than alive guy with lvl55 weapon. 99% group fail caused by slow response to mech. healer is key.

He is not. Past heart phase half your group can die and you can clear it just fine. The only dps check on Titan is the heart phase, which isnt even hard considering you can build up a limit break for it. Long story short, ilvl60 weapon is not necessary. If you still want Ifrit weapon like dmg w/o the stupid primal farming, an hq ilvl55 weapon will suffice, especially if its fully slotted with materia. A fully slotted weapon like that can even be equal to, or better than, Ifrit's stuff.

As an example, I ran Titan and our whole group wiped except like one healer, one bard, my monk, and the tank. Was no problemo.

Good luck. I'd say it definitely depends on the mobility of the class as well. As a BLM, I feel I should have i70+ because of how I have to position myself to cast. Every single spell counts because of how much we have to move around. If I was a Bard, I'd feel more comfortable with an i55 or 60 weapon because there is no movement penalty.
