    Not seeing it...

Ok, I'm missing something somewhere. When I create a new character...I'm not seeing Paladin as an option. Where oh where is that an option? Thanks!

It is a job not a class. You have to LVL up a certain class along with 2 other "sub classes" to be able to do Paladin.

To be precise, you need level 30 Gladiator and level 15 Conjurer on the same character.

You only need to level ONE other class to "unlock" advanced jobs.

But since an advanced job is allowed to pull cross-skills from two other classes, it's generally a good idea to level both those classes to get access to all the skills your job could use. Foresight in particular is nice for PLD. (Granted, you don't have to level MRD a whole lot to get it...)
