BLM skill Freeze

I'm past level 35 with a Black Mage but have yet to find the skill Freeze. Do I need to do a certain quest? I have tried searching the forums but no luck there. Any info would help. Thanks.

Something like SMN lv35 getting Summon II Titan-egi?

Seems I was right:
"The Freeze action is earned by the Black Mage job at level 35." - Source

Try checking the Thaumaturge Guild in Ul’dah where you got the 'Soul of Black Mage' to get lv35+ quests.

If I'm right, "Apocatastasis" is the lv40 reward, "Manawall" lv45 and "Flare" lv50 one.

The Blackmage spell freeze is attained at level at either the level 35 or 40 blackmage job quest. Freeze, however is a totally useless spell. In my opinion freeze should function like Archer's Flaming arrow or Arcanist's Shadowflare. instead of doing 40 damage at level 50 w/ epic gear! its just awful. the 6 second bind is also useless. the spell should just do Damage over time if enemies are standing on the frozen pool you left on the ground.

Thanks guys! I'm still not finding it. I've tried the Thaumaturge guild! So far the only job (BLM) skill I seem to have is convert! I checked guides online, forum search, and I've even asked players in game, still no luck! I know I'm probably missing something real simple.

Woot Hoo! I found it! Thanks guys for your prompt replies. Thanks to a helpful level 50 Black Mage named Viktor Lythe who pointed me in the right direction in game. The freeze skill for BLM is acquired through the job quest "You'll never go back", from the npc Lalai who is in front of the Mivaneth Sacratium right next to the Weaver's Guild in Ul'dah! Thank you all for the help! This was driving me crazy!

Go to Hustling Strip or whatever its called the upstairs area. After you got the soul crystal and spoke to the 2 black mages you had to meet him there. There is where you do your lvl 35, 40 and so on.

You're actually going to get your level 45 quest from the NPC the level 40 quest sends you to. It's an Ixal in the Camp Drybone area. Not sure where you get the level 50 quest though.
