When can we expect add-ons?

The UI has everything you could possibly need

It really doesn't.

The default UI is nice enough, much better than most default UIs, but when you're used to ultra-customization of everything from Unit Frames to Fonts, any UI falls short.

I want transparency, I want fade out, I want font colors/sizes, I want much broader range of sizing "widgets".

There's plenty that addons will add...on.

Please tell me you aren't serious. How about, I don't know just off the top of my head, showing Party Debuffs???? In reality I could go on and on about improvements. Not to mention

Debuffs show on the party list. Buffs are surrounded by a blue arrow pointing up, debuffs are a red arrow pointing down, and they show before the buffs do, so even if you have 10 buffs on, it will still be the first on the list.

Another addon I would kill people for though: An altoholic-type addon that shows my stuff no matter if its on a retainer or an alt or Company Chest, etc.

Things I'd like to see, off the top of my sleep-deprived head:
Something to auto-summon a minion(specific or random) when you log in or res.
Recipe back-links to show the entries for intermediary synth mats.
And indicator in item tool-tips showing how many synths that item is used for.
Item tool-tips only appearing when the icon is hovered over, not the entire entry line in menus.
Automatic mainhand change when attempting to repair an item not repairable by your current class.
Crafting log tracker that alerts you in some way when an item you pick up is a material needed to complete an entry you haven't filled yet. Possibly just a special marker placed over the item icon.

the buff display makes me want to punch myself in the balls. those icons are tiny, indistinguishable many times at a quick glance.

also, say i want the debuffs i am suffering to display in an unrelated location to my buffs (say debuffs by where my hp bar is and buffs over by where i put a skill CD display. makes sense to me).

I believe they said the addon API was coming out around the same time as PS4 version.
