    I did not read EVERY post so I apologize if this was mentioned previously.
    I tend to view it more on the cool downs themselves. and which will go with what, when. This of course has to do with 'fresh' encounters, with all cool downs ready that lasts more than 2min. This is what I am curious about. The few seconds and in what optimal order to begin with is nice to know, of course.
    IR= 60
    BfB=80
    BA= 90
    HE= 90
    RS= 120

    IR will be with BA&HE on its 1st click, and 4th.
    IR will be with RS on the 1st and 5th.
    IR will be with BfB on the 1st and 5th.
    BA&HE always together
    IR up twice as much as RS
    BfB used once in between it cycling again at the 4th min.

    It keeps going but you get the idea.
    (please forgive me if any of the simple maths is incorrect)

    The differences are so marginal. The only rules you need to follow:

    1) Have IR active before applying dots
    2) Weave skills between GCD

    Easy. There are so many factors in end game that the rest of this shit you guys are arguing about won't matter. Bards are steaky as shit anyways.

    durations:

    ir = 15.0s
    bfb = 20.0s
    he = 20.0s
    ba = 10.0s
    rs = 20.0s
    qs = 15.0s

    [HS | RS] ─► [SS | IR] ─► [WB | BfB] ─► [VB | HE] ─► [HS | Ba] ─► [HS/SS | BL] ─► [HS/SS | QS]

    that gives us this for time occuring:

    hs = 0.0s
    rs = 1.0s ─► 21.0s + 141.0s ─► 161.0s
    ss = 2.5s
    ir = 3.5s ─► 18.5s + 78.5s ─► 93.5s + 153.5s ─► 168.5s
    wb = 5.0s
    bfb = 6.0s ─► 26.0s + 106.0s ─► 126.0s
    vb = 7.5s
    he = 8.5s ─► 28.5s + 118.5s ─► 138.5s
    hs = 10.0s
    ba = 11.0s ─► 21.0s + 111.0s ─► 121.0s
    hs/ss = 12.5s
    bl = 13.5s
    hs/ss = 15.0s
    qs = 16.0s ─► 31.0s + 151.0s ─► 166.0s

    I have a couple questions for you guys

    First off, I don't know if I am doing something wrong but I can't seem to get logrep to see target dummies.It's only registering instance runs. I am also not sure if I really trust it. One ak run showed me at just over 1k dps on boss, while my next Titan run showed 173 (Seems really low for full dl and +1 relic)

    Second, are you guys using macros in your rotation to apply the buffs? Also are you guys just using these for the initial rotation and using buffs as they come up, or do you wait for cds to come back up and start over?

    Ha, 1k dps is certainly wrong, all the bosses in AK have about 40k HP, you certainly aren't killing any of them in 40 seconds by yourself =P, you have the settings all screwed up or need to try a different parser, I find FFXIV APP to work great for everything but DOTS, which they are working on. Most bursts (30s) are in the 300's DPS Wise on the High End, most sustained (5 min+) are in the 100's/200's DPS Wise, 173 is much more accurate sounding for a long fight like titan.

    Not sure how to help you with the parser problem :/

    The 1k seems a bit off lol. Most #'s I've seen for dummy/ak/coil have people in the 2-300 or so range for dps. I myself was around 240 on dummy, and usually a little below that in ak, but not by much.

    As far as macros, I use 11 for BRD really. Seven of them are for /assist <2-8> with recast timers for all CDs, and the other 4 are for HS, SS, WB, and VB. All four have every cooldown I use in them, and they're ordered differently in each one, based on the overall priority I want them to have. For instance, Raging Strikes in my HS macro is 3rd only behind Misery and HS itself. But in the SS macro it's dead last. In WB macro isn't 2nd to last, you get the picture.

    Doing it that way the only thing that's left is your timing really, in terms of weaving ws around the gcd and cds during it.

    I'm trying to get this down so critique please.

    1. Blood letter
    2. Straight Arrow
    3. Hawk Eye
    4. Venomous Bite
    5. Blood for blood
    6. Windbite
    7. Raging strikes
    8. Flaming arrow
    9. Barrage
    10. Heavy shot
    11. Internal release
    12. Heavy shot
    13. Straight shot.
    14. Blood letter
    15. Venomous bite
    16. Windbite

    The buff order is the way it is so that I can slightly clip the first round of DOTs and get both blood for blood and raging strikes on the next round. I put venomous up first so that the stronger dot could benefit from blood for blood both rounds.

    Blood letter will be weaved in between GCDs if it does proc.

    Would it be worth clipping at all? I would think so, but keeping track of all that to squeeze out a very little bit more dps can cause you to mess up and lose more dps than potential gain.

    Anyway, advice? Missing anything?

    You want internal release on your DoT's more than damage buffs right? Not to mention Barrage should be last priority, I basically have two macro buttons for CD. For burst damage I just mash them through, one ending in barrage one ending in Internal release, SS -> DoT's ..etc. I have every CD off macro on my hotbar if I need more precision cast as well.

    I've had better parsing with it going on the second round. This was partly due to confusion though. Having it up on DOTs with both damage increasing abilities for BL procs is great, but weaving in BL procs while getting the buffs up to go on the second round of DOTs is extremely difficult to do. There is just way to many things to keep up with. Which is why I'm baffled that people think bard dps is easy to do.

    Regardless, I will probably replace it back with hawk eye and just practice. I do think it is a dps increase if you can keep up with the procs.
