Name change

I agree, name changes would be nice.

I'm not understanding why people are opposed to a paid service like this. Toxic players are going to be toxic players regardless of their in-game name, so telling everyone that they are incapable of changing their name because of a small percentage of idiots is entirely unfair to the legitimate players of the game world.

I'm a role player, and if I happen to decide to change the appearance of my character via the fantasia potion because I want to role play someone different, then I'm going to also want to change my characters name to make sense with the potion.

And name changes are for non-role players too. People get tired of certain names, or they make a toon who's name they like at first but end up wanting to change it.

So long as their name gets updated on blists rather than deleted, I say let them name change all they want. Blist behavior should be permanent and up to the discretion of the blist owner. Its bad enough they can creat an alt and do whatever the hell they want again.

I understand and respect the reasons for opposition to the name change.

Name changes will come as in every other MMO out there. The people wanting name changes outnumber the ones opposed to it.
Some will take advantage and change their name to escape their bad rep, but, a name change will not change their behavior and it will not take too long for others to categorize them.
Maybe some even learned from their behavior and use the name change as a new start.. Miracles have happened...

I'm fine with name changes actually.. Primarily because people don't change their behavior.

An asshat changing his/her name may give them a fresh start but their true colors will come back along with their bad behavior. So, even with a name change said people will get another bad rep just like before. Those with a bad rep who think that they will somehow magically become a new and better person for humanity is a joke on themselves.

My friend and I both got Tickets in requesting for a name change and it was escalated to another team, still waiting for a response from that team. I'm wondering if the Fantasia will just be updated to name change.

I don't see a problem with the name change as long as it has some long cooldown and if the blacklist updated with the new name if the person changed his/her name. If I'm not mistaken you can change the sex of your character with the Phantasia potion right? So it would be nice to be able to change your name too.

You can indeed change your gender with the potion.
