I don't see a problem with being able to change your name like once in the beginning with the potion. Now if it was whenever you wanted yea I might be inclined to disagree but once with appearance change, pfft na. Would like to change my 1st name myself.

My friend had the name Kabuki and I wanted to theme with her so I went Kazuki, we didn't know what to do for last name so we did Yoshiki... Big mistake, people think we are either Japanese players/rmt or dual boxing.

Anyway if the lodestone listed all the previous names and servers a player used it could avoid the issues raised above.

Exactly! Your characters name is a great example too. If you wanted to change to say, a hyur female... it becomes a bit odd to say the least.

Yeah I changed to Miqo female because I love how cute their mannerisms are but have to keep the name Ronald for now.

Aww, yea I thought I'd tweak a few things, but so far I'm just holding it in my bank. Those of you 1.0 players that might have two, you can put one on each retainer since they are unique. I wish someone had told me that sooner... :P

Does anyone have the source about it not changing names and why they decided to do that?
