They just did name changes, the form was up for weeks. I had mine changed, looks like folks just missed the bus.

That was for 1.0 characters that had issues remaking, not people who wanted to use their fantasia to race/gender change and change names to go along with it.

I applied for that myself and the only response I received is that they would send me a Fantasia which doesn't change your name. On top of that I never actually even got the Fantasia they claimed they were sending lol.

I seriously hope they do add the name change option in, even though I encountered the 1.0 re-make issues I'd pay for it.

Saying NO to name changes because of bad people wanting clean slates is stupid. If someone wants to start over with good or bad intentions that's there choice.

Sex changing should have never been included with fantasia.

I said NO on name changes because, people really should think what they want to be / called by for the duration of their game. I don't mind a once or twice time change mind you it be lengthy on the cooldown (3-5months) This may be a fantasy game but it's also a world/community. I'd rather not have my friends/enemies switching races genders all the time.

Like others stated name change would be fine if foul players that you've blisted stay blisted. Also an option to see previous name would be great

"Yea! Screw people that get tired of things in a game that play for fun after several years! They should have known that they might get tired of something after 5 years regardless of things that might have changed between now and then! What do these people think this is, real life? No way to change your gender or name in real life or anything."

Honestly this line of thinking just seems so selfish to me. You say you don't what your friends to be swapping names or genders... but if they want to, if it will help them have more fun in a game they play for fun, and it doesn't hurt anyone, why would you say no to that? Just because it would take you a bit to get used to it? But maybe I'm just missing something in all this.

That ship, however, has sailed.

I think my icon should be updated today showing the hilarious lore mismatch between my (lore fitted) name for my old race/gender and my new one. Sure, maybe I should have played the races more in beta to decide sooner, but I was in the hospital. Why a name change was not included w/fantasia I can not fathom.

Cool down is not a bad idea, and I hope both players can still find me if I get a new name, and that my blacklist gets the updated named of players I want to avoid.
