An Examination of "Vote to Kick"

I think we should have a vote to kick feature. I think it should also be limited to 20 min per vote.

Honestly I would much rather chance getting stuck in a group of elitists who don't think I'm worthy than the many many times I've had someone d/c, intentional or not, or someone purposefully sit and wait till one of us takes the deserter hit because they're being a whiny brat.

I'm sure most DF parties are at least 2 random people and if you need 3 to kick then the chances are not likely. If all 4 are random then the chance becomes almost 0 unless they have a good reason. And with tells not allowed that means they have to talk about it out loud... To everyone.

Vote to kick won't fix everything. You'll have groups of a 3 person premade sitting, waiting, and kicking randoms they see unfit. I did it on TERA, people will do it here.

Good news! Apparently, a Vote to Kick function is indeed being planned for a future update!

Fortunately, it also sounds like they are anticipating possible methods of abuse and aren't just going to throw the feature into DF totally blind. Based on the planned stipulations regarding their proposed MVP points system, I'd say I'm pretty confident in their ability to avoid exploits/abuse. Gotta say, I'm psyched for what this could mean for the future of Duty Finder. :-)
