I've been hearing some decent stories lately from people in my FC about getting things done in DF so I thought, "Oh what the heck, I'll give it a go."

Queue'd up for Garuda, which I've done many times (BLM DL/AF2)

Within about 15 secs things had devolved to the point where it was like watching the last 5 mins of an episode of Intervention.
The tears, drama, Tank called the Whm "A ****ing Ret**d"

I'm not used to being witness to verbal abuse in a video game, so I just hit <leave> and got the heck out of dodge o.o

Anyhow! no more midday solo DF runs for me when my FC isn't around...

That's random queues for you, especially endgame ones. Everyone's a boss. Personally, I feel inclined to actively play worse when I encounter people like that. The rage is delicious.

The sad thing is nobody was doing THAT badly, but the rage was intense and instantaneous!

We probably would have won, if members weren't throwing rocks at eachother during the fight.

I know that feel. My first 'ruda DF group had a Pld mt in af and sergeant's gear that said 'lulz fail grup' and forced d/c'd after one wipe. Second DF foray into 'ruda had a drg that /sit over over to the side while calling people 'stupid idiots' and 'retards'. (he bucked up when I said I reported him for griefing and verbal abuse, but guess what I got in response from the support desk a day later? "players are allowed to play however the want etc etc") Haven't even bothered with it since.

Needless to say, I'm waiting for my FC to catch up.

I like it when people get offended when I try to offer friendly advice (in a very nice way) or explain a fight. People get "annoyed' or call me bossy when I'm just trying to help... but if you don't want advice, then play like someone who doesn't need advice.
