FATES on PS3.

Hi all.
I'm a casual player. I play between 2-3 hours a day after work on my PS3. I never have a problem except for the FATES. FATES on PS3 are unplayable.
For me thats was not a problem until I reach 46 and found the hard reality about leveling. There are no quests to level up, only FATES.

My PS3 can't handle the zerg of players doing FATES.

Today I took part in one recollecting rocks and killing mobs. My PS3 was unable to load the npc to give the rocks so i lost my time. This happened in various ocations.

Can Square Enix ensure the load of this NPCs? can i limit the number of player i want to load or at last load a dummy model instead of the actual player?

For me now it's imposible continuing leveling my character or try another class without the quests to level up because of this. Dungeons are fun but i refuse to belive that's the only way i have to play the rest of the game.

Some other PS3 player have this problem? any ideas?

Yeap, we're all suffering. It's already documented that the PS3 has obvious limitations but for whatever reason, the priority of loading up things around you doesn't seem to be placed upon the enemy and people in your party.

One way to do fates on PS3 is to remember where mobs spawn or pro tip here: see where other people are attacking 'something' (enemies you cannot see) and try to use whatever AOE spells you have. I levelled a WAR too and what I did was attack an unrelated mob to the FATE and dragged it around to use Overpower. You will end up tagging invisible mobs belonging to the FATE and get your EXP.

As for turn ins, you roughly need to be standing next to the NPC and wait around 6-10 seconds for it to load up. To do this, you have to either remember where the turn-in NPC is or watch where everyone is going to turn in their things for the FATE.

I have a PS3 lag problem, sometimes when in battle, my cures and attacks don't register, so I die. Then once I have respawned I see multiple messages stating 'this action cannot be performed at this time'. It is extremily annoying, and unpredictable. Also, quite often when I talk to an NPC I will get stuck for a few minutes before being told the event is cancelled, at which point I try again, hoping to not get stuck again.

I get this issue too - to be honest I seem to be OK in FATEs in most places, but in Coerthas especially things are abominable. The mad rush of people overloads the game and I've been disconnected several times as a result of the PS3's sheer inability to keep up (FYI, the same FATEs work fine on my PC). The worst is the Svara FATE - since it's a multi-part FATE with lots of enemies everyone Zergs to it for the EXP, but it is just physically impossible to do on PS3.

I am in the same boat. I just hope the PS4 is better off.

Im on tbe PS3 too and suffering from the same problem. You guys are not alone on this one.

Its not your PS3, your PS3 can handle it just fine. People on PC have the issue. It's all they way the server loads everything up, it doesn't make the MOBs or FATE NPCs priority, when it should. That's all that's wrong.
