i have try all.. i read guides.. what silly noobie thing am i missing?? why i cant use this thing?

among the guides i found... one explained:

"A private armoire capable of holding some untradable items. Though use of the armoire is free, the following restrictions apply:

Only items in 100% condition can be stored. - check
Multiple items of the same name cannot be stored. - only trying to put the items from dungeon that cant be trade/are unique/unselkable.. and u cant have more than one of this items..
Stored items will have their spiritbond values reset to 0. - could care less, part if the issue is i cant covered this stuff lol
Hermes' Shoes cannot be stored for a fixed period (approx. one day, Earth time) following use. - dont even know what this are lol

The same storage is accessible from the armoires in all three city inns. For example, an item stored using the armoire at the Mizzenmast in Limsa Lominsa can be retrieved using the armoire at the Roost in Gridania. Job artifacts, seasonal event items and achievement rewards are the primary types of items that can be stored. For a complete list see this list."

buti go into my room, click armoire and under
equiped
chest armory... body,waist, etc...
inventory

"items can not be found" or something like that..

i understand that here only go unique, seasonals and artifatcs gear (??)..
i knkw there seems to be a bug c the swimsuit...

but i cant put any unique there

You can't put any uniques in there that aren't AF/seasonal/achievement items.

You are trying to put dungeon gear in there, but stuff like that does not go into the armoire.

another question:
how do i know which items are? or i just need to base it on how i obtained the item (meaning they dont have any marking, e.g. say: seasonal in the top or ?dunno what it could say if obtained in achivement.
and out of curiosity... what is this AF?? i keep seeing those abbre. around

EDIT oh also.. what u guys then normally do with those items? i have bunch of stuff that i cant trade/sell/convert.. u discard them!?!? that ll be so sad

You can save those items on your retainers for future classes or turn them in for Grand Company seals.

AF is Artifact gear, it is the gear you get from doing the Job Quests to look like classic FF jobs.

Like I said, the only stuff you can store in there is Artifact gear, Seasonal events, and achievement items. So if you didn't get it from a seasonal event like holidays (except for the current swimsuits, that will be stored later), or from getting an achievement like the golden tools, you likely are not able to store it.

got it thx i ll try to find out bout this thing of turning them into grand company for seals..

and i guess i ll have to look into this golden tools thing from achievement, sounds nice
