    Proposed class FNC and jobs RDM and BLU

    I hate the idea of RDM coming from GLA or being hybrid of THM and CNJ. RDM has generally been a battle Mage that used rapiers, some BLM spells, some WHM spells, and usually a handful of unique spells or abilities.

    DoM Class: Fencer or Rune Fencer

    Role: DPS with hybrid magic and physical attacks. Uses combos to buff party or debuff and nuke monsters.

    Primary stat: Int with Mnd secondary.

    Weapon: Rapiers and Scimitars.

    Abilities:
    1). Lunge - basic attack
    2). Dia- low DOT reduces physical defense
    4). Raddoppio- low potency, combos with Lunge for mid potency adds slow.
    6). Fighting Stance- swaps Str and Int, doubles cast times for spells
    8). Fire - same
    10). Cure- same
    12). Riposte- low potency, combos with Lunge for mid potency increases, parry rate.
    15). Enthunder- buff, adds thunder damage to physical attacks.
    18). MP regenerating ability. (Not a refresh spell).
    22). Engarde- ability,moderate buff to all defense.
    26). Passata-soto: low potency, combos with Riposte for high potency, added evasion boost
    30). Dia ii- Low DOT reduces magic defense.
    34). Cura- same as Cure but with low HOT buff.
    38). Esuna- same
    42). Fira- same as Fire plus moderate DOT
    46). Moulinet- low potency, combos with Raddoppio for high potency, high magic defense debuff with a short duration.
    50). Reflect- self-cast buff, reflects low % of magic damage back to caster, moderate to high duration.

    14). Mind 1
    20). Shocking strike- under Enthunder, low percent chance for short duration paralysis debuff.
    24). Int 2
    28). Mind 2
    32). Improved Engarde: adds magic evasion.
    36). Defensive Flourish: upon successful Passata-Soto combo, low % chance FNC gains this buff which makes the next healing or support spell cast by the aoe. Short duration or 1 spell.
    40). Critical Strikes: boost of 5% for physical, 10% to offensive magical, and 15% to healing magical crit chances.
    44). a buff to mp regen ability would be good here.
    48). Offensive Flourish: low % chance that upon a successful Moulinet combo, the FNC receives this buff which doubles the potency of the next offensive spell cast. Short duration or 1 spell.

    Job: RDM
    Req: THM and CNJ at 10?
    Role: improves upon the FNC by adding additional spells.
    Primary stats: Int w/ Mnd 2nd.

    30). Dia 3: low DOT, AoE, small debuff to all defense, stacks with other Dias.
    35). Gravity- does moderate potency magic damage with short duration bind and moderate duration slow.
    40). Haste: buffs skill and casting speed for 20 seconds.
    45). Reprise: ability, next spell uses TP instead of MP.
    50). Ultima: moderate to high potency magical damage. Either moderate DOT or elemental residence debuff).

    All RDM spells are stackable with Defensive or Offensive Flourish.

    Job: Blue Mage BLU
    Req: GLD (or Arc) 10 and ACN 10?
    Primary stats: (INt or STR which ever isn\\'t primary is secondary).
    Role: BLU is the more offensive branch. Uses creature abilities called blue magic.

    Abilities:

    30). (Trait): Learning, can learn blue magic and equip 1 blue magic.
    35). (Trait): increase potency of blue magic by 30% and weaponskills by 5%. can equip another blue magic.
    40). (Trait): provides a low % chance that the BLU can resist the effects of a know blue magic spell used against the BLU. Also, another spell.
    45). (Trait): improved learning: can now learn spells from unique or powerful monsters (ie bosses). Can set another blue magic spell.
    50). Allows the BLU to set a spell acquired from improved learning.

    The BLU relies more on the offensive abilities of the FNC and can use certain BLU spells under Offensive Flourish (ie it would have to be a magical attack.). Depending on how blue magic is implemented, Str might be more important than int.
