You do make a good point >.> I can do other stuffs though! S'why I've been playing Rift in order to occupy myself while I wait for FFXIV to make it's grand return :O
Some people got the wrong idea from my post here, thinking I was snapping my fingers and saying give me information now. It wasn't like that and there has been a ton of stuff going on for me and I forgot when exactly they said "Golden Week" was and I just seen like a good nine days go by without any good information and was just curious and wanted to pick the brains of the other forum readers.
Thanks Bayohne for posting two times and the second makes us thing we got some big juicy information coming just around the corner and that gets me all excited like a kid in a candy store, haha.
Actually with Bayohne's SOMETHING is coming post I wanted them to post on lodestone as a new info post "SOMETHING" and the info inside of it would state "see I told you something was coming." Lame is lame but it was a funny mental imagine that I got when I read it.

We have producer letters every two weeks, so we should have more info about the job system on monday.
I am pinning all my hope that they have been holding everything back update wise until the battle system is rolled out so I am expecting a fair bit of content in 1.18 and 1.19 but if that is not the case then I will be very disappointed ; ;

I just hope they continue to flesh out the current zones, especially since they are so huge...and it doesnt seem like they need to add a new region until the current regions and even current dungeons are fleshed out to satisfaction.
A post from another topic:
Basically hoping they add more content to existing dungeons along with introducing new dungeons.Seriously though, if they just add more land marks, things might be a little better. Of course we're still limited by areas. XI's starter areas were: Gustaburg, Ronfaure, and Sarutabaruta. Each of those zones lead to another area: La Theine, Tahrongi, and Konschat. 2 of which lead to Valkurm Dunes and the other to Buburimu, and then from there you could get to one of 3 other zones that connected to Jeuno with had another zone connected behind it, Qufim.
What is the seriously messed up part is that Vanilla FFXI seemed to have much more variety since it focused on diverse reasonably sized areas believably connected together, rather than just 5 large areas.
Now both games have about the same number of dungeon areas early on, but really large regions that dont have any differentiation within the zone really kills the sense of adventure and gameplay in general. Thanalan looks more like a savannah than a desert, so i'd expect more areas with decent amounts of rugged plantlife. La noscea should have more random buildings and structures being so close to a port city state. Dont really hang around the Black Shroud too much, so not many ideas there...however the dungeon areas are really nice looking, and need to be fleshed out more.
The small quest campsites and beast tribe villages are great upcoming ideas, and even though they should've been in game day one, I really hope they continue to flesh out the current huge areas and existing dungeons along with implementing new ones before even thinking about adding totally new regions. Of course back in the day, I never thought something like Movolpos would be connected to Gustaburg.
