Best way to get Gil?

Just a few points regarding my situation. I am level 33, stuck on Brayflox's Longstop.

1. I can not seem to progress without some higher tier gear.

2. I have very little gil, and have done every quest I can find, taking gil as the reward for most.

3. I spent most of my gold trying to level up my Weaver, which is currently level 28.

4. Weaver is my only profession job.

How can I attain enough gold to make, or purchase some HQ gear off the marketplace for my level.


Also, if you would be so kind to answer the same questions for my buddy who is in the same situation, except he has armorcrafting instead of weaver. If the answers are different anyways!

Roll a miner. Gather shards. Sell shards. It's not super fast but you can make 20k an hour with ongoing shard prices.

shards are big. I collect them from the enemies that drop them, either wind, earth, water or fire and then put them up on the market. I made 16,000 the other day just with the one sale
Metal from mining however i have not had luck yet but does save money for crafting
