Gotta love those idiots in Castrum Meridianum raid, pulling bosses mid cut scene.

Just finished that raid and for 2 bosses i was not even present for. Why? Because they were engaged mid cut scene. Only a couple people died due to the fact that only one healer was present, but hey they survived just barely and killed the boss. Whats more, i got credit and enjoyed the story cut scenes.

Hey, its only an easy raid after all, and besides if they want to be all ''gogogo'' and die, they can be my guest!

It is pretty blatantly obvious when it says ''viewing custscene'' right across my name. That and constantly being way behind everyone else. You would be pretty blind to miss that.

But hey, i aint complaining. Not one bit. I still get credit for everyone else's hard work, just as much as they do. I am happy to sit outside the barrier just so they can finish the raid 3 minutes sooner.

Well it's still a thing of politeness so they get a heads up. But alas people shouldn't go rushing in without making sure everyone is good.

I agree. It would be very polite for them to wait the 30 whole seconds it takes to view (and sadly read) the average cut scene in this game. But alas, we are living in an age of GOGOGO MUST COMPLETE THIS YESTERDAY gamer types.

In the end, we both end up winning. They get their raid done a couple minutes earlier, and i can watch and enjoy the cut scenes.

I don't think most people really care if you are new or not. They'll normally be a group who queues together and recruit one or two extras so they can just clear the thing on their own anyway. Frustrating for some people who want to watch cut scenes and do their story quest properly but that's the fault of SE for making story quest dungeons into farming dungeons for end game. Of course there will be people who do it several times a day and just want to get each run over with while going through the motions.

I am pretty sure the cut scene only plays for first timers. Still, in almost every raid is at least one or more first timers.

If i were SE i would have placed the ''circle boundary'' on the group preventing movement out of it until everyone was out of the cut scene. But my guess as to why that was not implemented is probably because people would complain and bitch about it ''slowing things down''. Which of course is ludicrous, as those watching the cutscene are excluded from the boss fight/trash fight and those rushing it run the risk of wiping if too many are watching the cut scene.

Still, its the risk they take initiating a boss with a few players absent.

I'm sick of all these cut scenes in dungeons. It is so over the top and annoying. There is always someone who needs to sit there and read it. From what I understand you can view these while not in the dungeon so please stop wasting peoples time.

And se I don't need a cut scene every time I do anything in this game.

Cutscenes play every single time you enter the instance, the only reason why most never watch them is because they skip them so they can get through their speed run faster. Most runs that I've seen through duty finder people just don't care when they're down one because the instance is fully completable down a tank, healer, or dps. If you want to blame anyone for the speed runs though here blame square, there is nothing faster for philosophy tomestones and the only other place that drop them at a decent rate people have already run 50 million times. It all could have been fixed with heroic instances but for whatever reason they held them off till 2.1 along with a raid that is a tier under the current one(because sense makes).

I like to get my tome fast but if people in group says they were new, I understand and will wait but since this is duty finder group and you will expect all kinds of people.

yesterday at CM, 2 first time and they viewing cut scenes, aggro stuff people knew to avoid. Then someone in group not too happy about it knowing it is not speed run, so what he did, lock himself in cut scene, AFKing group.

It is not people who is new and viewing cut scene or make some mistakes, it is some players' immature behaviors really annoys me.
