How to start end-game?

Yeah AF isn't THAT bad. To be perfectly honest, nearly every DF group I had that was successful in Ifrit, AK, Garuda, and (almost, damn DC by tank on P3) Titan was in AF/DL jewelry or a low mix. HQ Crafted weaps/GC(lv50) weaps work just as fine also.

This was shown to me clear as day when my first Titan fight had a bunch of us 'newbies' in lower gear, get to P3 within 2 wipes, and would've won had the main tank not DC'ed; versus groups in nearly if not full DL gear, cutting each other down and having an 'oops' moment nearly every other turn, leading to rage quits left and right. AK was the same deal for me, and garuda is more or less just knowing/learning the fight.

In the end it largely depends on who your running with, with gear being important but not end all be all. Just make sure your up to date best you can be from crafted items and such, gathering DL along the way. Now for Coil of Bahamut I have no clue and willing to accept the fact it takes full DL/Relic weap to get through it, as its the highest we can go right now. But this DF stuff, meh.
